Sales Operations Analyst

AMAROK Sales Operations and Enablement is charged with ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s sales teams. The Sales Operations Analyst (SOA), supports the company’s sales team analyzing sales data, generating reports, and providing insights to improve sales performance by identifying trends, areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to streamline sales processes, ultimately driving revenue growth and optimizing sales team efficiency. The SOA, will become the SME (Subject Matter Expert) on AMAROK’s proven sales process as well as national and regional crime and industry trends. The goals of the SOA include:

  • Use data to drive coaching and sales process adherence to drive growth
  • Development of SME role for crime and industry trends
  • An increase in sales effectiveness with production of high-quality business cases
  • Ability to maintain order during times of rapid company growth

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Track and evaluate execution of sales process, providing reporting and regular analysis of sales teams to allow for effective and data driven coaching
  • Manage and evaluate data gathered during sales discovery meeting easily digestible written and visual analysis to aid in the justification and ROI calculation of our system to perspective customers
  • Research and evaluate crime data, industry and regional trends, to maintain current knowledgebase for sales reps
  • Provide thought leadership content for both sales reps and marketing campaigns based around crime and industry trends as needed

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and intermediate to advanced experience in CRM system. Experience with Salesforce is preferred, but not required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Overnight Travel Overnight travel is not expected for this position.

Base Compensation Range: $60K up to $70K per year. Compensation is determined based on competitive market data, experience, skillset and geographical location.
