Yes, Travel to Costa Rica requires a current valid passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your arrival to Costa Rica so if it expires within that time frame you will need to have it renewed.

This is an adult only event. All guests must be over 21 years old.

Please DO NOT arrive earlier than April 19th as the property is sold out. If there is a travel issue, please contact Andrea directly to discuss.

Should you decide to extend your stay after April 23rd, please contact Reservations to request availability and they will be happy to assist you. Please note that requests are not guaranteed and are subject to availability at the time they are received.

Activities have been booked and we are unable to change activities.

You will not be able to adjust your guest after registration.

Yes, we will coordinate airport transportation for all arrivals and departures to and from the Hyatt Andaz Resort based on the flights made through Spotnana. These schedules will be shared closer to the event.**Please note if you plan to travel to another resort after our event or travel around the country departure transportation will be on your own and we recommend booking in advance of your trip.

No, all transportation will be provided to activities.

Saturday, April 20th – Optional Activity

Departure: 8:00 a.m. from Andaz Beach. The estimated return time is 1:00 p.m. Distance by water taxi is 30 minutes to Matapalo beach and 15 minutes ground transfer to Welcome Center.

*You will choose one activity (Ziplining, Horseback Riding, ATV) and then also experience the Animal Sanctuary and Hands On Cultural experience.  A group lunch will be provided.

What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, closed shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, camera, towel, binoculars

  • Zip Line course featuring the longest dual-line, ocean view zip line in the area. Participants can share their experience while riding side by side.
  • Professionally guided ATV tour along private dirt trails through jungle and lowland forest.
  • Horseback riding along trails through dry tropical forest. You will experience spectacular views and backcountry wildlife.
  • The Animal Sanctuary is one of the finest wildlife education centers in Costa Rica. Its home to frogs, snakes, crocodiles, monkeys, sloths, beautiful birds, butterfly observatory and a variety of cats including jaguars.

Join us for a heart-pounding off-road adventure around the Palmares estuary in a UTV – and be prepared to get dirty! Stop for a quick nature walk before heading over to the northern peninsula for astounding ocean views, exclusive to adventures with Peninsula Explorers. From there visit Playa Zapotillal to hang out on a secluded beach where there is rarely another soul.

Mountain Biking

Traversing through forest, estuaries and mangrove, Peninsula Papagayo’s many trails within Palmares Preserve are a wonderland for mountain biking. The new fleet of electric-assist off-road bikes all boast full suspension and will allow you to escape the confines of pavement, connect with nature and journey out for the ride of your life! Seeking a more active workout? Ask for our regular mountain bikes!

What We Love – The exclusive, coastal trails carved through thick tropical forests, open only to peninsula residents and guests.

Aerial Adventure

A unique collection of 30 epic aerial trails designed by adventure park legend Victor Gallo creates a not-to-be-missed voyage through one of the last vestiges of old-growth tropical dry forest in the Americas. The two-hour guided exploration traverses seven ziplines, a majestic weeping fig tree, and 21 adventure-filled high-rope obstacles replete with rope bridges, swinging logs, cargo nets and more

Venture into this natural sanctuary and explore a unique ecosystem of eerie “walking trees” able to survive (and thrive) in salty fresh water, creating a rich refuge for wildlife. Take a relaxing paddle through the mangroves in an outrigger canoe or, for a more strenuous workout, hop on one of our water bikes.
