AMAROK’s innovative perimeter security products have been recognized by American Security Today (AST) among the nation’s best security solutions for consecutive years.
In the 2022 Awards announced in November, AMAROK won the Platinum ASTOR for ‘Best Fencing Solution’ for their Portable Electric Guard Dog™ Fence. AMAROK also took home a Silver ASTOR for ‘Best Perimeter Protection Solution,’ also honoring the unique portable fence.
AST’s ‘ASTORS’ Awards honor security vendor solutions that deliver enhanced value, benefit and intelligence to end-users in varied government, homeland security, enterprise and public safety vertical markets.
AMAROK’s History With the ASTOR Awards
AMAROK has won ASTOR Awards each year since 2019, including a distinctive honor in 2021 citing ‘extraordinary leadership and innovation.’ At this year’s awards ceremony, Danielle Reaves, Account Executive, accepted the awards on behalf of AMAROK.

The Portable Electric Guard™ Dog Fence
This year’s product of consideration from AMAROK, the Portable Electric Guard™ Dog fence, features dual-layered, free-standing fence panels, with safe isolation of electric wires from its chain-link layer, configurable to any size or shape lot. Its common applications include:
- Construction sites for site-wide security or the creation of secure equipment storage zones.
- Protection of seasonal inventory or overflow lots.
- Temporarily extends the boundaries of The Electric Guard Dog™ fence line.
The core goal for AMAROK’s line of security fences, and for their portable fence, continues to stop crime on commercial and industrial properties whose security needs begin at their perimeter—even when those perimeters change or need to move.
AMAROK’s Integrated Solutions
AMAROK is known for continuous advancement in patented systems. This year’s winning portable fence is not their first product built upon the core Electric Guard Dog fence to be an ASTORS winner. AMAROK’s integrated solution, FORTIFEYE, which combines the electric fence with video surveillance and monitoring, also earned an ASTOR in its introductory year. “FORTIFEYE maximizes the inherent protection of our fence and the customer’s confidence in AMAROK,“ said Dorrington. “And now we have added the convenience of portability for large, temporary construction and other sites.”
