Moving Vehicles Nationwide with Reliable Expertise
ACERTUS is a leading full-service logistics provider specializing in comprehensive vehicle transport, storage, and delivery. Founded in 2018 through a logistics brand consolidation, ACERTUS now operates over 50 facilities with a vetted network of 8,000+ carriers and 20,000+ trucks. It uses a GPS-enabled Transportation Management System (TMS) and machine-learning data tools to track vehicle shipments, reduce risk, and achieve over 99% damage-free deliveries.
Trusted nationwide to move vehicles safely from start to finish, they recognized the need to address potential vulnerabilities in certain parts of their process. Their goal was to enhance security and safeguard customer assets beyond just transportation. Although their main expertise is in vehicle logistics, ACERTUS also manages the interim stages, where high-value vehicles are temporarily stored in lots before or after transit.
Challenge: Inconsistent Security, Rising Risks
ACERTUS faced growing risks due to inconsistent security standards across different sites, leading to seven-figure claims from theft losses. Some locations relied on cameras, while others had none, leaving valuable vehicles vulnerable. Repeated thefts, vandalism, and liability claims caused financial damage and threatened customer trust.
Growing risks lead to seven figure claims from theft losses.
Corporate security teams found it difficult to prioritize investments because of limited and inconsistent data: claims reports and incomplete crime statistics offered only a partial view. Assessing real risk involved considering asset value, site layout, and exposure, which complicated strategic planning. Spencer Krupp, Head of Physical Security at ACERTUS noted, “We had no real data on what was happening across various site locations, so we had no clear way to determine what the risks were, and we had no defined system or process.”
Meanwhile, past security solutions demanded significant capital and maintenance that ACERTUS wasn’t equipped to sustain. A few locations had electric fencing in place, but a cohesive nationwide strategy was missing until AMAROK introduced its security analysis and proposed a national account partnership.
Solution: Data-Driven Security at Scale
AMAROK partnered with ACERTUS for a multi-site risk analysis, combining internal claims data with external crime and non-crime factors to identify vulnerabilities across all locations. With this insight, ACERTUS could prioritize upgrades strategically, directing resources where they mattered most. “We’re now paying less than a quarter of our prior costs and have a more effective solution across all our sites. Those cost savings also allowed us to standardize our footprint and secure more sites,” said Krupp.
As of 2025, 18 sites are secured with a clear roadmap for adding more in the next installation phase. AMAROK delivered a scalable, customized electric fencing and centralized camera surveillance solution that streamlined protection under one corporate security standard. Through a national account model, ACERTUS has expanded its corporate security team with AMAROK. Featuring predictable security expenses, the monthly service fee includes proactive maintenance, real-time monitoring, and ongoing consultation.
Finally, AMAROK’s operating expense (OpEx) model, which includes system maintenance, simplifies budgeting and eliminates large upfront capital investments, making steady, long-term security more achievable.
Results: Nationwide Partnership Redefines Security Standards
Through a partnership with AMAROK, ACERTUS has turned security from a fragmented expense into a strategic advantage. By standardizing protection across its nationwide vehicle storage sites, the logistics company now operates with greater efficiency, reduced liability, and stronger customer trust.
Beyond a security system, the business model of AMAROK relies on a supportive partnership featuring security as a service across multiple sites. Krupp reflected, “What sold me was the product package as a whole and the vendor relationship. AMAROK has been an extension of our team, and their service standards are unmatched. We haven’t had a single claim since system installation on protected sites, and that continues to prove ROI.”
