There are no upfront costs prior to installing an electric fence. The customer must provide a structurally sound “outer” perimeter fence — something already present on most potential sites. We own and service all essential materials in The Electric Guard Dog™ Fence.
Operating costs are negligible because The Electric Guard Dog Fence is powered by a 12-volt marine (DC) battery continuously charged by a solar panel(s). Traditional power sources (the grid) may be used as a backup measure or to assist in (trickle) charging the battery — options that would not noticeably increase energy costs.
Our patented design minimizes nuisance alarms caused by birds, small animals and weather — common pitfalls of alternative perimeter security systems. AMAROK perimeter security systems utilize a key failsafe that withholds alarm signals until a voltage change continues for a preset time frame. This eliminates nuisance alarms caused by isolated blips and ensures true alarm signals are reserved for genuine intrusion and tampering efforts.
Yes. An electric fence installation can be performed with other access control systems and security components.
No. Our systems are designed specifically for commercial and industrial locations.
AMAROK believes very strongly in the safety of our electric fencing and installation services. Because of this, we indemnify our customers and will defend you in the event of a claim. You’ll be added as an additional insured to further that protection. That said, our electric fencing security solutions are medically safe and claims of injury at our 7,500+ customer locations are extremely rare.
The voltage on our electric fences is monitored 24/7. If the voltage drops below 2,000 volts for more than five seconds, an alarm signal is sent to the alarm panel that will sound sirens on site and notify the central monitoring station. The central monitoring station will then follow the protocol you have established, which can be to dispatch the police or notify the call out list. By requiring a deviation in voltage of five seconds, we eliminate the false alarms that plague other exterior security systems such as those created by small animals, brushing of tree limbs, etc.
AMAROK offers a diverse selection of security products that can be integrated with your electric fence to meet the security needs of your specific location. This includes, but is not limited to, motion detectors and door contacts for interior security and video surveillance cameras to verify an alarm. Unless otherwise stipulated or discussed, your AMAROK contract will automatically renew every 12 months. Service can also be discontinued or paused in the event of a site relocation.
AMAROK is responsible for all repairs and maintenance work to The Electric Guard Dog Fence, regardless of the cause. This is included as part of your solution at no additional cost.
Potential money savings depend on your individual circumstances. Our average customer who replaces a 24/7 guard will save more than $120,000 per year. If you replace a weekend guard, your savings could be $25,000 per year.
